Dear Joe,

Thank you so very much for the beautiful food and gift basket we received at closing. We truly enjoyed all the delicious selections.

Joe, we would also like to express our sincere appreciation for all the time you spent with us to make our dream home come true. Granted leaving our home of 22 years was hard, but the professional demeanor and talent of your phenomenal staff and sub-contractors made the move the right choice.

Unpacking, setting up and rearranging our new home along with continued preparations for our daughter Jaclyn’s December wedding will keep us fully occupied. Joe, for you we wish continued good health, much happiness and an ongoing future of success with your home building business!

With much appreciation,
PP & PP

Dear Lemel Homes, Sarah, Joe & Everyone,

Thank you for making our dream come true!  Our beautiful home!  WE have been dreaming of this home for nearly 20 years & we’re so thankful for all you’ve done to make it happen.  We are truly thrilled to be here.  We walk around giggling all the time!  It really amazes us that we saw it on paper & now we can sit in it & run up & down the stairs in it & cook in it ….  It definitely is exactly what we hoped it would be and more!  Everyone involved has been just wonderful to work with – each supplier, each crew, everyone at the office – I wish we could thank each personally – I’m sure you will pass along our thanks.  We truly appreciate all your hard work – it was a grand experience and if we ever do it again … We hope you all would do it for us!
Its great!

Thank you also for the lovely food basket on the day of our move – it was greatly appreciated & put to good use!  What a day that was!   Thank You !

Thanks again to everyone involved!

Warmest Regards,
KR & JR

Dear Joe,

A man that is as good as his word is hard to find.  A company that lives up to its PR and sales brochures is rarer still.  Thankfully we found both when we chose to build with Lemel Homes.

When you told us you could customize plans to our specification, you did.  When you told us you’d be done with the house six months after digging, you were.  When we called with questions, you answered them quickly and accurately.  And when the inevitable, unexpected snags arose and you told us you’d take care of them, you came through.  It’s the way your entire staff handled the unexpected, with extraordinary talent and professionalism, that makes us happy to say, without second thoughts, we’d build with Lemel again.

From the very beginning – the comfortable, informative, low-key sales presentation—all the way through the beautiful gift basket at closing, your organization has demonstrated pure class and excellence.  Thank you, and everyone at Lemel, for making our first building experience so smooth, and thank you for standing behind your word.

Sincerely,
RS & MS

Dear Joe,

Only now, after this space of time, I’m sending many thanks from Gerry and me.

Thank you for the lovely gift basket.  The goodies sustained us during the move from our apartment.  But, the tenderloins are frozen until a spring bar-b-que!!

We have had just one month in our new home before we drove to our southern address, including the 4 animals.  However, a month’s experience allows me to tell you what a great house it is for the two of us.  We love it.

In short, thanks to you and your team for a well-done, practical and handsome home.  And through it all, you were there for us.

Best Regards,
JS

Dear Joe,

It was a joy and a pleasure to be able to build a Lemel Home.  The professional quality of workmanship throughout the building process was not only the top of the line but better than we looked at.

Before we selected Lemel to be our builder we had looked at many homes from the ground up.  I don’t mean just going from one open house to another but going to the work sites and watching them build the homes.  Many home builders skip a lot to save here and there but when Lemel builds.  Everything is built to spec’s.  We are proud to say that Lemel built a house that we can make a home last for many years to come.

We would like to thank everyone involved with building our dream home and a special thanks to the following.  Ron for all the work he had done to get us set up from choosing the Country Ranch to helping us finding the right financing.  May he treat all his customers this well.  To Liz who we just found out will no longer be with the Lemel family good luck to being a happy homemaker.  Bless you for all you have done in a very professional manner.  It was a joy working with you throughout the process.
To all the contractors, subcontractors, salespersons we had worked with thanks for your time and effort to make this the best home possible.  And last but not least the office staff of Lemel who without them things would not have been run so smoothly.

We are very proud of our Lemel Home and will not be shy of letting anyone who wishes to know more about Lemel Homes what a wonderful experience it was to work with you.

Also with this letter we are sending a picture of the fireplace that I completed.   I hope you like it.

With a closing thought don’t be afraid to stop by and have a look.  You are all welcome anytime to stop by and see your handy work.

Sincere Thanks
DS & OCS

Hi Lemel,

This email is really intended for Ray, but I was unsure if he read email or not. If he does not can you please pass it on to him.

The home looks great. Ray did a great job of interpreting our vision, we are very impressed. We are almost looking more forward to landscaping the place than we are to moving out of our folds and into the new home. It was always so hard for us to visualize and now we can see what the final product looks like. I never thought you could make that exposure look so natural. I am happy to say I was proven wrong. It is exactly how Deb and I imagined it. Ray is very good at taking vision and implementing it. We talked to both the excavators and to Jack from Lietzau, they are great contractors and really represent Lemel well! They love to teach me the in and outs of home building which I appreciate very much! I am still looking for the weak link and have not found it☺

Thanks again for doing such a wonderful job, we are very much looking forward to whats to come!

We cannot wait to move in at the end of September! Of course I am kidding!

Thanks,
TS

Dear Rich,

We want to express our sincere gratitude for your professionalism in building our home.  We have greatly appreciated your qualities of caring; conscientiousness; knowledge of the various trades; belief in Lemel Homes’ reliability; patience with customer issues without becoming defensive; personable; honesty; promptness and personal reliability.

Also we’ll never forget when you gave your chocolate chip cookies to Tom and kept none for yourself.  What a guy!
Not all building goes this smoothly.  Ours did (and seemed to when it didn’t really) because of you.
Come to visit and sit on our deck, if we can make room on that little thing, for three.

Very sincerely your friends
S & M

The best place on earth really is the place we call “home”.

Now that we’re ‘knee-deep’ into the construction phase of our home, I want to complement you on the people you have surrounded yourself at Lemel. As you know, this is not the first time we’ve built a home. Our experience with our last builder was frustrating at best. This time around, we’ve encountered knowledgeable, caring, hard working individuals from top to bottom.

First off, Bonnie couldn’t have been more helpful. At 58 (sorry Bonnie but I had to put it in there), she has more energy then many of the younger engineers I’ve worked with over the years. Her drive and know-how was one of the main reasons Deb wanted to go back to Lemel when we started questioning Badger Builder’s business ethics. Then with your help (and Bonnie’s), we were able to design a home that we truly wanted and didn’t feel we were ‘settling’ for (tho, it would’ve been nicer $50,000 cheaper).

Speaking of $’s, now that I’ve spent several house of quality time at the job site, I see where the cost is justified. The number of board feet in that house is unbelievable. Then there are the special trusses to aid in our quest to have a traditional exterior look to our home while having unique design interior, the ‘Santa’s nightmare’ back roof line, the chimney in the sky…and I’m just getting started.

I also have to mention what a great help Rich has been. He now faces the task of answering Deb’s questions (and by now, you should know there are many). Rich has always quickly responded having valuable insight. Rich has not only been answering the pending question but also gives more with schedules of what is to be done next. This is fantastic practice with anyone building a home.

As I mentioned, I’ve spent a lot of time at the site. Two of the most critical aspects of the design have been accomplished. First, I didn’t want a ‘cookie cutter’ home, I wanted something different. Second was character. Although some would say they’re the same, I would strongly disagree. The S has character and more. As you look at each room, there is something uniquely special about each (ok, maybe not the ½ bath). I can’t tell you how important that was to me to obtain those goals more so then the great views that look in to see the inside of our home.

I’ve taken the time to write this because there’s always time to complain but we sometimes never have time to compliment. You have assembled a team of talented ‘players’ in which you should feel good about and take pride in.

I look forward to the completion of our home (next week too soon?).

Oh my Gosh! Can the people you work with get any nicer? This morning we meet with Brian, the electrician. Very nice man…made suggestions which were very helpful. Then Rich stopped by…explained a few things also…(I love hearing about out all the little details)…Rich was extremely nice and informative as usual. Then we met with Dave for the cabinets at 10:00. Great guy….he dealt primarily with me for (2) hours…got to give him a gold star just for that…not to mention all of his expertise he shared…that was very helpful! I am now even more excited about “MY” (Kevin get’s the basement and garage.) new kitchen….it’s going to be amazing!! It’s hard to work this afternoon…I’m on an adrenaline high! That was very fun this morning! The electrician was working, truckloads of dirt were coming in, there were guys working on the siding, the brick was delivered, stone was being delivered for the basement and garage, the little bobcat was racing around, the guys were working in the basement smoothing all the stone out, the cement trucks were on the way….it was crazy…but a very good crazy!

It’s almost embarrassing that we have to keep checking in and telling you how happy we are with things, but we can’t leave all of this unnoticed. We have been extremely impressed…. Two of the things which were important to us during this process was that we were building a quality home and that we would enjoy the process. I felt a little naïve about the “enjoy the process part” since you don’t usually hear nice warm fuzzy stories about people’s building experiences, but we are having a great time watching the continuous progress on our home and we are enjoying every little thing that goes on…..from each outlet to each load of dirt (and there have been many!).

Thanks much for the great experience!
DS
